It is always a pleasure to work with corporate clients, and the staff from Audi Cars here in Gaziantep in Southern Turkey has been no exception.
Some of the staff from many departments of Acarsan Audi in Gaziantep (Southern Turkey), from sales, marketing, fleet, accounts, attended the first of some courses designed to help in team work, and increase productivity for the company.

I have a number of courses coming up, and for those that follow me, and those who have asked to be informed about future courses here are two I will be giving in Italy and Turkey.
In Italy I will hope to be giving a PhotoReading courses in the near future. If you would like to organise participants to take the 2.5 (two and a half day) course, please contact Phillip Holt.

In todays world we are being overwhelmed with written material, perhaps by journals, magazines, manuals, books, emails, and to keep ourselves at the top, with the knowledge needed to compete and exist in our work and social lives.
How can we get through this vast amount of material? By reading more productively.
We can speed up our reading speeds.
We can read more selectively.
We can read only that information that is relevant to our needs or purpose.
On the course I will teach you all the above and more.
Normal reading, we can expect to read at approximately 180 Words Per Minute (WPM) with 60% comprehension.
With speed-reading it is said we can achieve 800 WPM with 60% comprehension.
With PhotoReading we can achieve 20,000 – 30,000 WPM with 80% comprehension for the purpose we are reading for.
Over the two and a half day course we will get through six books, each with 300 pages, so I will ask you to
bring some books with you.
PhotoReading is not reading you have experienced before.
For those who have completed the course before, why not come along to practice and reinforce your learning, it will be fantastic to see you again for a small charge to cover the hire of the room etc. Remember for returning participants, you must have and produce the official Learning Strategies sealed certificate.

Learning English with NLP
My travels giving courses, talks and presentations, takes me to many countries around the world, East to West, and I enjoy my work.
I have just completed a ten day course in the southern Turkish city of Antalya, where the participants learned the English language.
Working with Kaya Firat of BIZ, we took participants with some knowledge of English, and over the days together, from 4pm until 10pm, we helped them, nurtured them, taught them how to speak and converse in English so much better.

I was amazed by how over the time together, peoples confidence grew, that they were more willing to engage in conversation, especially with myself who speaks no Turkish.
There is no magic switch in the brain that will instantaneously take a non English speaking person into a fluent English speaker, there is a need of practise, practise, practise.
There is a need to engage the whole body to speak a language, the tongue, the breathing, the jaw, the muscles, and those that followed the course and participated in the exercises, certainly improved their English.

Seminar on Developing Memory Techniques and Learning Skills
NLP Master Phillip Holt gave a seminar to 5th grade students on Memory Techniques and Learning Skills.
NLP Expert Phillip Holt helped the students gain an understanding of what Mind Maps are and where they can use the technique.
Holt stated that Mind Maps is a useful learning and remembering tool that helps the individuals visualise and recall when necessary an idea or concept through creative ways. Students also played interactive games covering the seminar theme.
Primary School 5th grade students used Mind Maps to make learnings lasting, imagining the items given by the NLP Expert Phillip Holt, and visualising them in a memory exercise.
What a wonderful day we had, a hall full of children, eager to learn and at the same time have fun, new ways of learning.
Within the day they had learned how to count to ten in Japanese, they had learned the English names of the planets in our Solar System, they had remembered over twenty random words, and could recite them back to me in order backwards and forwards, they had learned how to do Mind Maps.

In the afternoon, just before they left for home, the schools principal came into to hall, and they all stood on the stage, and demonstrated to her their new knowledge by counting in Japanese and telling her the planets and the random words I had given them.
What a privilege to work with children like this.

PhotoReading in Gaziantep, Turkey
Another course come to an end, and the PhotoReading course in Gaziantep in Southern Turkey, (click to read feedback) was an especially fulfilling one for me, as we had fun, we learned so much together, and the participants all gained knowledge from the 5 books they PhotoRead during the three days we had together. It was as if they had spent perhaps months of study, as I listened to the feedback as they described the contents of their books that they had no knowledge of prior to coming on the course.

We had a lovely girl of eleven years old, Zeynep, who held her concentration on the course the whole time, participated in all the exercises, which gave her wonderful results on the last afternoon, even amazing the adults who helped her and each other during the activation stage.
The course was for Turkish people, unfortunately, I speak no Turkish, well perhaps I can count from one to six, and know a few words like “aşkim” pronounce “ashcum“, I need translators like Mehpare Kileci of Gap Consultancy who organises and promotes my courses, to efficiently and accurately translate my training which I deliver in English. I have been very lucky in finding such people, who sit by my side and work from 9 in the morning till 6 at night. I admire their abilities and their tenacity in putting up with me.
Being that I deliver all my courses, no matter what country I am in, it means that English speaking participants can also join the course. And so Gianfranco Pozizzi, an Italian who is working for a short period of time with Gap Consultancy to teach Italian, joined the PhotoReading course.

Gianfranco brought with him five books written in Italian to learn PhotoReading, and one exercise I love to teach is to get a participant to swap a book which they have already read and understand with another participant who likewise has read and understands their book. I ask that the persons receiving the book should not have read the book or know the subject matter it contains.
Non of the Turkish participants had any knowledge of the Italian language, so I stepped in.
I have been teaching and training in Italy for over ten years, and my knowledge of the Italian language is slightly better than Turkish, I can count to ten and order a cup of tea with milk. But, I have PhotoRead the Italian-English-Italian dictionary, and by belief is that this information is in my inner subconscious mind and is available to me, plus my belief that I am a good PhotoReader enabled me to work with Gianfranco.
He took my book written in English by Owen Fitzpatrick on time management and I took Gianfranco’s to PhotoRead. This was on day two of the course, and we did not activate, or start asking questions until day three.
When I started telling Gianfranco about his book, the book I had PhotoRead, the book which I had had in my hands for perhaps twelve minutes, his mouth dropped. I had to smile to myself inside, because once again, I was able to take a book in a language I cannot speak, in a language I cannot read, but have had exposure to, and was able to know the contents.
I was even able to give Gianfranco Italian words which were important within the context of the book and which were within the book, but I did not know the meaning of.
What a convincer for Gianfranco and others on the course as he relaid what had happened after the exercise to the participants. I just hope that the book I had given him, which he was able to tell me about, will make a difference in his life to manage his time better.

Her bireyin beyin kapasitesinin dünya hafıza şampiyonu Tony Buzan’ın beyin kapasitesiyle aynı olduğunu, farklılığın beynin kullanılma biçiminden kaynaklandığını vurgulayan Holt hafızanın kullanımı için nesneleri hayal edip onu resme dönüştürmenin önemini belirtti.
Verimli öğrenme ve hatırlamanın tekrarlamalarla mümkün olacağının altını çizen Holt ‘’Beynin bir şeyi üç kez öğrenmesi lazım, eğer üç kez tekrar ederseniz hatırlarsınız’’ dedi.
Holt düzenli uykunun öğrenilenin özümsenmesi için şart olduğunu, rahatlama tekniklerini bilmenin ise stresi azaltacağı için öğrenme ve hatırlamayı kolaylaştıracağına dikkati çekti.
Holt, sunumunun ardından dinleyicilerin sorularını yanıtladı.

Two Phillip Holt’s
Over the last couple of days, news has come to me that I am in two places at the same time.
How can that be?
There seems to be two of me.
There is the one in my shoes now giving training, and another one here in Istanbul, Turkey, who is teaching hypnosis.
I became confused as I know which one is me, I am in my shoes, and my feet hurt, so I know it is me.
Perhaps my feet hurt because there is someone else getting in my shoes at the same time.
There has always been ‘Little Phillip‘ trainers, people who have been on my courses and copied what I do, and then deliver the same courses, often word for word, even using my same stories or metaphors and jokes, but this is different.
A person calling themselves Phillip Holt, is delivering hypnosis in courses.
The strange thing is this person is Turkish. Surely they must realise that ‘Phillip Holt‘ is not a Turkish name, and the participants will realise that something strange is going on.
Just in case the person wants to copy me even more, he should make his hair grey, grow a beard, age a little, speak English with a British accent, and put on some weight.
