I gave a recent course in a very windy Istanbul over three days for a group of dentists, who wanted to learn how they could use hypnosis in their work with their patients to reduce pain and help them relax.

We certainly proved that they could all induce a hypnotic trance quickly on their partner, thus to allow pressure to be exerted on a sensitive part of the hand to induce pain, which was not felt by the partner.
