NLP Master Practitioner and Coaching in Bahrain

Another course ended last night here in Bahrain for NLP Master Practitioner and Coaching.

Now I am waiting to deliver the second half of Super Learning for Kids, 42 of them.

The NLP Master Practitioner and Coaching course was an interesting and a challenging course to run, with so many characters, levels of knowledge, both professional and that of previous knowledge of NLP.

It is interesting for me to encounter the results of other organisations understanding of what is NLP, and how they train participants.

Having worked with Richard Bandler for many years, and being a licensed trainer of the Society of NLP, the standard NLP Practitioner course would be 7 days. But then I come across people who had been trained to the "same level" in 4 days by other organisations. I have to ask, what has been missed out, what has not been taught, have the participants actually had experience of and practiced the techniques and ideas covered by the NLP Practitioner syllabus?

Certainly, I have had to catch participants up with missing knowledge, teach for example, the Pattern Interrupt technique, or what is known as the handshake interrupt.

I am grateful for being able to work with the likes of Richard Bandler, John Gindler, Ormond McGill, Paul McKenna, Paul Scheele, Buzan etc, directly, so that I can give my participants firsthand what they need to know, and to reach the standards demanded by the originators.

Back to the UK next straight after the end of todays Super Learning for Kids course. I hope I can sleep on the flight home.

With regards to your request for more information about Mind Maps, PhotoReading and Super Learning for Kids.

With Mind Maps and PhotoReading, I have done the dirty and attended their licensed trainer courses, so unlike many, I have learned from the originators.

Mind Maps by Tony Buzan, is a one (1) day course, but lately I have combined it with my Memory course www.c4memory.com , making it a two day.

On the web http://www.c4mindmaps.com I have written :-

Mind Maps are powerful graphic techniques that provides universal keys to unlock the potential of your brain. They harness the full range of cortical skills – words, images, numbers, logic, rhythm, colours and spatial awareness – in a single, uniquely powerful manner. In so doing, it gives you the freedom to roam the infinite expanses of your brain. Mind Maps can be applied to every aspect of life where improved learning and clearer thinking will enhance your performance.

It will help to remember, to plan, for presentations, to make decisions, brain storm, take notes in lectures or meetings, etc. In the course we do many examples. Great for Uni students.

For PhotoReading, http://www.c4photoreading.com this is a 2.5 day course, where the participants will PhotoRead 6 books,
          1. the PhotoReading Book
          2. a book they have already read and know the subject
          3. the book of someone else's
          4. four (4) books on one subject that they know nothing about.

Each of these books will be about 300 pages.

PhotoReading is not reading in the conventional sense, but absorbing information at 20,000 - 30,000 words per minute (WPM). Using the whole system of PhotoReading, we are able to comprehend information to the purpose we want. The more specific the purpose the greater the knowledge.

We use Mind Maps in PhotoReading, but I spend about 5 minutes explain them.

Super Learning for Kids was a course I put on at the request of the training organiser in Bahrain. They had kids from 7 years old to 14. This was hard work to keep the attention span for the youngsters and keep the oldies happy.

What I did here was to teach some reading skills, Mind Maps and memory skills.

Each of the modules for the Super Learning for Kids was 3 hours.

      Hope that helps.
