Private one-2-one clients
I love my work, presenting, giving talks, giving training courses (see web site for details) and seeing people on a 1-2-1 basis, (see web site for details) all over the world.
One of the services I offer, is that I go to people, to their homes, to their offices, where ever I am needed, as it is rare that people come to me. Say if it is a phobia of flying, (is your phobia listed, click to see) I will often meet and work with that person in the airport departure lounge. If it is a fear of trains, we may work at a station. If it is a fear of leaving the home, I will go to the persons home and work until I know that they will never need to see me again.
I do not have offices in London, on that special Harley Street.
I work with the clients until I know they have reached the outcome they want, to remove the phobia, the unwanted behaviour, the obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), the lack of self esteem, confidence or presentation skills. This time can be for three minutes to ten hours, I work in that one session, until I know my work is done.
This means I travel to many different places. They are not sightseeing tours, and often I see nothing of the place I am visiting. For example, my last trip to Bahrain, (photos to follow) all I really saw was the airport, my hotel where the course was also being held, a couple of restaurants and a friends villa, and that was it. I fly in, do my job and fly out.
I was on a recent trip to see a client in Windsor, and I was able to take in some of the sights of this old English town. As I walked around the outside of Windsor Castle, enjoying the magnificence and grandeur of the building, but not willing to pay money to go inside, my mind went back to the last castle or fort I had visited in Gaziantep in Turkey, (photos to follow) and I realised how lucky I am to experience all the different cultures, sights and sounds.
Should I spend more time to see the places I visit? Perhaps I should. But then, it is my job to deliver trainings, cure phobias, to help people, and not to be a tourist.
ADVICE PLEASE.

I am lucky where I live, as we are surrounded by historical buildings, parks and places, including Richmond Park, the home of Henry 8th's Hampton Court, Syon House, Kew Gardens, and many many more. Even the apartments we live in Norbiton Hall has history if only looked for. click on links
